Paradise Air’s Gippsland Aeronautics GA8 Airvan is a seven passenger, single engine, high wing airplane perfectly designed for the requirements of flying in Costa Rica.

Its short field landing and take-off capabilities allow safe access to many airfields that are typically unavailable with larger aircraft.

With a 300 horsepower Lycoming engine it has more than enough power to transport six people plus luggage to just about anywhere in the country! With Panama and Nicaragua a short hop away the 700 nautical mile range of the Airvan easily allows for flights to those beautiful destinations.

In addition, the airplane is equipped with state of the art avionics including a Bendix King GPS and a terrain awareness warning system.

The Airvan hauls over 1,100 pounds after fueling with no problem.

A five foot cargo tube in the rear of the aircraft allows for safe storage of surfboard, fishing rods and additional baggage.

Large passenger windows and airline style seating make this airplane the perfect mode of transportation. With a Bose powered sound system and noise canceling headsets you will enjoy quiet music as you gaze down along the endless Costa Rican beaches and rain forests.

Paradise Air's latest arrival is a brand new twelve passenger Cessna Grand Caravan. 

The jetprop airplane is air-conditioned, appointed with luxurious leather interior and is capable of flying non-stop to any destination throughout Central America. 

With a five and a half hour range, carrying a full passenger load, the aircraft has proven itself to be the airplane of choice whether hauling families with surfboards or business people and briefcases.
